How do I set or change my card PIN?
Cards → select card → Manage PIN. You will confirm with a one-time passcode. Never write your PIN down or share it.
- Sign in and open Cards, then select the card.
- Choose Manage PIN.
- Confirm with your one-time passcode.
- Enter a new four-digit PIN and confirm it. The change takes effect immediately.
Choosing a PIN
- Avoid your year of birth, repeated digits, or an obvious sequence — these are the first combinations tried.
- Do not reuse a PIN from another card or your phone lock.
- Never write it on the card, store it in your phone's notes, or share it with anyone. No Optimal MetroHub Bank employee will ever ask for it.
PIN blocked after wrong attempts
Three incorrect entries at an ATM or terminal blocks the PIN. Set a new PIN in online banking to unblock it. If the card itself was retained by an ATM, freeze it in online banking and order a replacement — do not go back for it later.
